A Homebuyer Survey is a concise report on the structure and condition of a property. The inspection is thorough and involves a comprehensive inspection of the external parts of the property. Internally, we inspect the loft void together with the internal parts and comment upon the services, i.e. water, gas / oil, electricity, water and drainage.
The Homebuyer Survey concentrates on urgent and significant matters that may affect the value of the property. A market valuation is also commission together with a re-building cost for insurance purposes.
The Homebuyer Survey is suitable for modern and simple properties that are in reasonable condition. If you are purchasing an older or more complicated property or a dwelling that you may wish to alter or extend, we recommend that you undertake a Full Building Survey.
With every Homebuyer Survey we prepare we include a CD-Rom with a PDF format copy of the report together with a selection of photographs taken during the inspection of the internal and external parts of the property. This service has proved extremely beneficial to our clients.
